Why is my oven not heating up?
On electric ovens it is usually a failed bake element or temperature sensor; on gas ovens, a worn igniter. These are common, replaceable parts.
Can you recalibrate an oven that runs hot or cold?
Yes. If the oven heats but the temperature is off, we test it and recalibrate or replace the sensor so it bakes accurately again.
Why won't my gas oven igniter light?
A weak or failed igniter is the most common cause — it draws current but no longer gets hot enough to open the gas valve. Replacing it typically restores reliable ignition.
