Stove / Cooktop repair FAQs

Question not covered? Call (919) 670-1009 and ask — we answer these all day.

Why does my gas burner keep clicking but won't light?

That is usually moisture, food debris, or a misaligned burner cap interfering with the igniter, or a worn spark module. We clean, realign, or replace as needed.

Can a cracked glass cooktop be repaired?

A cracked glass surface generally needs the cooktop glass replaced rather than patched, for safety. We assess whether replacing the surface or the unit makes more sense.

Why won't my induction cooktop recognize my pan?

Induction needs magnetic (ferrous) cookware. If compatible pans still are not recognized, the cause may be a coil or sensor fault, which we can diagnose.
