Range repair FAQs

Question not covered? Call (919) 670-1009 and ask — we answer these all day.

What's the difference between a range, a stove, and an oven repair?

A range is the combined unit (cooktop plus oven in one), a stove or cooktop is just the cooking surface, and an oven is the baking cavity. We repair all three — knowing which helps us bring the right parts.

Why would my whole range lose power at once?

A total power loss often points to a tripped breaker, a failed power cord or terminal block, or a main control board rather than the individual elements. We isolate it safely.

Are slide-in and freestanding ranges repaired differently?

The internal components are similar, but the fit, controls, and anti-tip setup differ. We service both freestanding and slide-in models.
